The workshop is open to all interested parties. You do not have to be a member of the Graduate Academy Leipzig to participate. Students interested in doing a doctorate should enter their university login (username) in the registration form instead of their membership number.

Course Description
In this workshop, the team of the Graduate Academy will introduce you to the most important requirements and conditions for a doctorate at Leipzig University. We will talk about good scientific practice, doctoral supervision and funding as well as give a brief overview of the most important services and contact points that support doctoral researchers. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore their personal requirements for working as a researcher and to consciously shape their next steps on the path to a doctorate based on their strengths and skillset.
