Last week we celebrated with fellows, lectures and students of GESI a wonderful start into the summer term 2024. Against the backdrop of a roundtable discussion, which was composed of Julia Herzberg, Megan Maruschke, Gilad Ben-Nun and Steffi Marung, we discussed several questions about “teaching and studying in the context of the multi-crisis”.
The discussion showed that multi-crisis affected and affects the way how lecturer and students reflect on readings, topics, sources and current debates and why study programs such as those at the GESI are even more relevant nowadays. The summer opening closed with a reception where GESI students and fellows continued the discussion and exchanged perspectives and reflections.
