Hans Bernard Schmid (Wien): Social Ontology – Inspirational Stories and Cautionary Tales

This talk examines forgotten early conceptions of social ontology in 19th and early 20th century thought. A variety of conceptions from different contexts and in different languages are discussed - with an eye on lessons to be learned from them by contemporary social ontologists.
